Mutual Respect

By setting the groundwork for effective communication and interaction with law enforcement officials from a young age, we are teaching children that authority figures will give you the respect you deserve, and through our education, we teach children to offer respect in return. Teaching respect in a safe and controlled environment, such as a school, is the perfect way to begin to instill these values in children that are developing their minds, and taking cues from the world around them to form opinions that will remain with them throughout their lives.

Trust

When children are bombarded by negative news through television and social media outlets, it has a significant impact on their view of the world, making it seem like a scary place to live in. It is very difficult to build up trust when preconceived notions are formed from a very young, impressionable age. When children are given the opportunity to relate to officers on a personal level, really getting to know them through unstructured play and educational programs, the building blocks of trust begin to form a foundation. We also work to highlight positive actions of law enforcement officers, and celebrate heroic actions of police officers around the globe, to further the narrative that these officers can be trusted to keep communities safe.

Teamwork

The best communities are built on teamwork, and through our model based on partnerships between law enforcement, schools, parents, and other non-profit local organizations, we have the plan in place to capitalize on the benefits that are realized simply by working together. Empowering children through education and social interaction in a safe and familiar space will lead to a brighter future for all, and we can only accomplish these goals by moving forward together as a team.

Building Safe Communities

When school children receive positive education from an early age, they learn through our foundation of unstructured play opportunities that law enforcement officials are truly on their side, and want to see them succeed in life. These children will grow up respecting officers and seeing them as a valuable asset to the community, and there will no longer be fear, mistrust, and resentment. Our communities will be safer places, with less aggression, bullying, and reduced physical violence and community crime. We want to return that sense of childlike awe and wonder, so that the next time a policeman waves and smiles to a young child within the community, they will wave back with mutual respect and admiration.
